Platform Lifts

Barduva GRB60 Inclined Platform Lift

By Barduva · Official stockist

A wheelchair platform lift that rides a rail up straight staircases — up to 30 m of travel, battery-powered, for homes and commercial buildings.

Barduva GRB60 inclined platform stairlift on a straight staircase

Wheelchair access up the stairs you already have

When a vertical lift won't fit and a ramp would run half the car park, the GRB60 uses the staircase itself: a platform rides a compact rail mounted directly to the stairs, carrying the user in their own wheelchair — then folds flat against the wall so the staircase stays clear.

We supply, install and maintain the GRB60 across the North East for homes, shops, offices and public buildings.

Why it stands out

  • Serious travel — up to 30 metres of rail handles long straight flights.
  • Battery-powered — 24V operation means it keeps working through a power cut and needs no heavy electrical work.
  • Safety at every step — automatic brakes, barrier arms, an overspeed governor and sensors that stop the platform if anything is on the stairs.
  • No structural overhaul — the rail mounts to the staircase, so listed and period buildings can gain access without invasive work.
  • Four platform sizes to suit different wheelchairs and stair widths.

Also compare the Vimec V6 straight platform stairlift — we supply both and will recommend whichever suits your staircase better.

Ideal for

Straight staircases in homes, retail, offices and public buildings — including buildings where structural alterations aren't an option.
